Born and raised under the California sun, Meryl headed to the Windy City for a cultural awakening of sorts. With her journalism degree in hand, from Columbia College Chicago, she has been working to combine her new media dexterity with her passion for the written word. Meryl’s diploma pegs her as a magazine journalist, but only by trade; she is a freelance writer and editor, with a knack for fashion commentary and a love of shoes.
